Mount Hospital Exploration

• Willow and Osric visit the Mount Hospital outside town while the rest of the group remains in the caverns.
• Willow casts Speak with Animals to communicate with injured livestock, including donkeys and cows.
• Osric attempts to scratch a cow suffering from a severe rash, worsening its injury and prompting the vet, Malachi, to intervene.
• Malachi raises concerns that the animals might have Specters decay and instructs Osric to wash thoroughly with well water and soap.
• Willow speaks with an injured show horse named Martha (formerly Maple Sprinkles), who was burned in a torch accident and longs for freedom.

Confrontation in Holi

• Willow confronts Petunia, Martha's owner, after learning the horse is considered a replaceable performance tool and will be sold off.
• Enraged by Petunia's attitude toward Martha, Willow transforms into an owlbear to intimidate her.
• Calliope Speaks with Hank and discusses their interested in the Eusim Faith.
• Osric and Calliope intervene to de-escalate the situation and prevent a full-blown riot in town.
• The group pays gold to help secure Martha's eventual release and agrees to return for her later.
• After retrieving their mounts Roger and Runa from Dan, the party prepares to depart.

Journey to and Arrival in Eyecra

• The party travels roughly two hours south under clear weather to the walled city of Eyecra, arriving around 2:00 PM.
• Osric is welcomed home by a fellow shrouded member at the guard gates.
• The group learns that an important rite/combat involving Osric is scheduled for 9:00 PM that evening.
• The party splits up to explore the city; Luther and Nelyse head toward the library, while Osric leads Willow and Calliope toward a tavern.

Gathering at Ethan's Eatery

• Osric, Willow, and Calliope visit Ethan's Eatery, operated by Osric's longtime friend Ethan.
• Ethan catches up with Osric, discusses his history, and mentions that their peer Lexi has recently received her mission.
• The group discusses cultural attitudes toward death, deities, and faith, contrasting local devotion to "Eu" against other beliefs.
• Calliope inquires about visiting the local chapel, and Ethan outlines the role of faith and the shroud in Eyecra.

The Library Clue and Planning the Rescue

• At the library, Luther and Nelyse discover a hidden letter left by Nelyse's mother, hinting at danger and referencing Lavora.
• The party reconvenes and debates priorities between continuing the Specter's decay quest, finding the Harvest Bloom, locating Nelise's mother, and retrieving Martha.
• Willow expresses distress over feeling unsupported and emphasizes her commitment to rescuing Martha.
• Luther volunteers to ride Roger back to the Mount Hospital alone to negotiate for Martha and return before Osric's 9:00 PM fight.

The session ends with Luther leaving the group.
